Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP®) Exam Preparation Seminar

This seminar is designed for individuals who are seeking the CBAP® certification and would like a focused, structured session to ensure a thorough understanding of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge® (BABOK® Guide, version 2.0) and to prepare for the CBAP exam.

Individuals must meet the IIBA's application requirements to sit for the CBAP exam including work experience, areas of expertise, education and professional development, and references. Refer to the requirements listed on the IIBA website at www.theiiba.org for details.

This seminar provides an in-depth, structured approach to understanding the BABOK® Guide, and provides useful memory exercises and discussions to reinforce the concepts detailed in the BABOK. Attendees will learn test taking strategies and gain an understanding of the exam format and the types of questions that are asked on the CBAP exam.

The outline of the seminar is as follows:
   - Introduction: overview of the seminar and the CBAP exam
   - Introduction to the BABOK: overview of the Knowledge areas and their relationships and BABOK definitions
     used throughout the BABOK.
   - Coverage of the Various Knowledge Areas as follows:
        - Business Analysis Planning & Monitoring
        - Elicitation
        - Requirements Management and Communication
        - Enterprise Analysis
        - Requirements Analysis
        - Solution Assessment & Validation
        - Underlying Competencies
        For eack knowledge area (KA) we will cover the following: definition of the KA, definition of each task 
        within the KA and its associated techniques, and practice test questions followed by team discussions.

Participants to the seminar will receive the following:
   - Copy of the pesentation materials
   - Summary of the BABOK
